Wilcox-Hildreth’s boys were down 16 in the first half but righted the ship and ended up winning comfortably 65-50 over Shelton at Wilcox on December 6. The Falcons rose to 3-0.
Shelton got out to a 20-7 lead through one period and extended the lead a bit more before W-H came storming back for a second quarter advantage of 26-12 and a halftime lead of 33-32.
The Falcons outscored Shelton 17-11 in the third for a lead of 50-43 going to the fourth. Then W-H had a 15-7 superiority in the fourth quarter to win by 15.
