Falcons Remain Undefeated With Win

The Wilcox-Hildreth Falcon football team took a week off between games but the layoff didn’t seem to bother the undefeated Falcons.
Wilcox-Hildreth went on the road Friday and picked up its second win of the season, a 36-20 victory over the S-E-M Mustangs.
The Falcons improve to 2-0 on the season and have a chance to go 3-0 next Friday, Sept. 14 when they host the Franklin Flyers in Hildreth.
The Mustangs were able to get on the scoreboard first in the opening stanza. S-E-M scored its first touchdown on a three-yard plunge and with the two-point conversion run led 8-0. S-E-M scored the next time it had the ball finding the end zone on another three-yard run to go ahead 14-0 over W-H.
