Falcons Top Eagles, Now Face Loomis

The Wilcox-Hildreth Lady Falcons will be moving on in the 2011 Fort Kearny Conference tournament after posting a victory on Saturday in Amherst.
The Lady Falcons entered the bunny-bracket game as the seventh-seed and faced the tenth-seeded Overton Eagles. Wilcox-Hildreth (8-9) had too much firepower for the Eagles picking up a 50-33 win. The Falcons will face second-seeded Loomis in the quarterfinals on Jan. 30 with a berth in the semifinals on the line.
Michaela Hinrichs paved the way for the Falcons win with a team-high 19 points, 16 rebounds and two steals. Morgan Farley also reached double figures scoring 13 points while Jessica Harms added seven.
