Wilcox-Hildreth won its second in a row to move to 2-1 with a 24-22 victory at Wallace in overtime on September 17. A blocked conversion kick was the difference.
The Falcons led 8-0 at halftime, the only scoring coming on a first quarter TD pass from Jayden Bauer to Lane Lieb that covered 14 yards. Logan Knaus kicked the conversion.
Both teams found the end zone on the third period. Wallace had a 44-yard touchdown run and the added conversion kick to tie the contest at 8-8. W-H then went back in front as Triston Nicks ran in from three yards out and Knaus again converted. After three quarters the Falcons led 16-8.
