First Bank Edges Lawrence, 8-5

The First Bank Senior Legion baseball team got back into the win column on July 12 when they traveled to Lawrence to take on the Lawrence Seniors in a road contest.
First Bank came away with an 8-5 victory to improve its overall season mark to 9 wins and 8 losses.
Miles Steen picked up the win for the Seniors pitching six strong innings allowing four hits, five runs and three walks while striking out three. Sawyer Monroe earned the save pitching the seventh striking out two of the three batters he faced.
