First Bank Falls To Central City

The Kearney County First Bank Seniors had two games on the docket last week but only one was completed as lightning forced an early cancellation of the other.
First Bank was hosting York on June 13 when a mother nature light show forced an early end to the contest that had York leading 3-0. No word at press time whether the game will be made up.
The seniors were back at it the next evening, June 14, entertaining Central City. A back-and-forth match ended up with Central City pulling out a 16-12 win. First Bank’s record fell to 0-6.
