Four Generations of Wedding Dresses At Hinterlong Assisted Living Wing At Kearney County Hospital

On Thursday, June 23, Olga Lindgren and her daughter presented four generations of wedding dresses at Hinterlong Assisted Living Wing of Kearney County Hospital.
Lindgren’s mother was married wearing the first dress in 1906. She wore the second dress in 1939, when she was married in her fiance’s house. Her daughter was married in 1963 in the third dress, and her granddaughter entered her own wedded bliss in the fourth dress, in 1990.

The Lindgrens brought along family photos and other memorabilia from each generation of weddings.

Volunteers at Hinterlong provided a wedding cake, and other snacks and desserts were made by residents of the assisted living wing especially for the afternoon.
