Goodfellows Finish Drive

The Kearney County Goodfellows have finished a very successful Christmas drive.  This is very much appreciated by all those that help with this program.
The Goodfellows help throughout the year with utility bills, rent, medical bills, mortgage payments, Christmas food baskets, and other special requests as they come up.
The Goodfellows greatly appreciated all the help from everybody that helped out this year.  The support from the Axtell Community School and the Minden Public Schools in their canned food drives was overwhelming. Great Job!! The extra canned food went to the Kearney County Food Pantry.  All the hard work from Denise Reiss of the Mid-Nebraska Community Services was really appreciated also.  The support from the community toward this drive has been wonderful.  Without you, we couldn’t do this project.  This week’s list of donors are:  Louise Schwartz, LeRoy and Virginia Hansen, Minden High School, Robert Duering, John Finkner, Randy Wolfe, Grayson Tool, Gordon Petersen, Orlan Grams, Kandy Scheidies, Tim Beck, Doris Thompson, Delores Ingram, Don Miller, Terry and Jacqueline Sorensen, Lee Mills and Edna Carlson.
