Historical Society Program Features Images From The Past

will be a rare opportunity for area residents to step back in time through a photographic journey. The Kearney County Historical Society will hold a program on June 2 at 2:00 p.m. at the St Paul Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall in Minden.
Their speaker will be Jack Hultquist whose presentation includes never before seen 1888-1934 photographs processed from old glass negatives. Hultquist has been working on the project for nine months and is looking forward to sharing the images with the community.
The glass negatives are owned by the Kearney County Historical Society and were being stored at the museum. Only a few of the negatives were on display due to limited space. “I thought we have all these images and I wanted to be able to get them out and share them with people,” Hultquist commented.
