Holiday Hoops Are Set

The Minden Whippets, Axtell Wildcats and Wilcox-Hildreth Falcons girls and boys basketball teams will all be hosting their own 2011 Holiday Tournaments Dec. 29-30.
Minden has scheduled to compete the Adams Central Patriots, Bennington Badgers and Grand Island Northwest Vikings.
At 1 p.m. GINW girls will play Bennington followed by the boys contest at 2:45 p.m. The Lady Whippets will play Adams Central at 4:30 p.m. following immediately by the Minden boys and Patriot boys game at 6:15 p.m.
The girls consolation game will begin at 1 p.m. followed by the boys consolation game at 2:45. The championship girls contest will tip at 4:30 followed at 6:15 by the boys title tilt.
The Axtell Lady Cats and Wildcats will be in action on Dec. 29th as well. In their tournament Eustis-Farnam will play Blue Hill in girls and boys action at 1 and 2:30 p.m. The Lady Cats will tip at 4 p.m against Spalding/Spalding Academy followed by the Axtell boys taking on Spalding/Spalding Academy at 5:30.
The finals will begin at 1 p.m. with the girls consolation contest followed by the boys at 2:30. The girls championship game will start at 4 p.m. followed by the boys title game at 5:30.
The Wilcox-Hildreth Falcons will be in action as well on Dec. 29th hosting Kenesaw, Harvard and Lawrence-Nelson in Wilcox.
At 2 p.m the girls game between Kenesaw and Harvard followed by the BlueDevil and Cardinals boys game at 3:45. The Lady Falcons will begin play at 5:15 when they take on L-N followed at 7 p.m. with the W-H boys vs. the Raiders.
The consolation contests begin at 2 p.m. on Dec. 30 at 2 p.m. for the girls followed by the boys at 3:45. The girls championship game tips at 5:15 followed by the boys championship game at 7 p.m.
