It’s A Family Affair

The Kearney County Fairgrounds in Minden will be the place to be July 17-22 for good old fashioned county fair fun.
A fan favorite, the pig wrestling contest, will kick off the Kearney County fair at 5:30 on Sunday, July 18.  Both participants and spectators have a good chance of getting dirty as the pig wrestling commences.
Wild Encounters will return to fair on Monday, July 19 and Tuesday, July 20 at 7:00 p.m.  The show gives spectators a chance to get up close and personal with a myriad of exotic animals, reptiles and birds.
Gregg Claassen, ventriloquist, will be performing on Wednesday, July 21 at 8:00 p.m. with his puppets friends, a show sure to entertain old and young alike.
The D.C. Lynch Carnival will be on the midway Monday through Wednesday at beginning at 6:00 p.m. Discounted tickets will be available at local retailers.
