Jalyn Todd, 65, of Salina, Kan., passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2020, at the Salina Regional Medical Center in Salina, Kan.
Jalyn was born on May 16, 1954 to Keith & Donna (Gregory) Caldwell in Smith Center, Kan. She was one of two children.
She attended school in Osborne, Kan., and graduated from high school at Minden in 1972. She attended college and graduated with a masters degree in counseling.
She worked as a Licensed Master Addiction Counselor. Some of the places she worked were Norton, Kan., Nebraska City, Columbus, York, Lincoln and Salina, Kan.
She had two children that she loved very much. Jalyn enjoyed cooking, gardening, her dogs and visiting with family & friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Justin Boye of Colorado Springs, Colo., and son, Jared Todd of Buena Vista, Colo.; brother and sister-in-law, Aaron and Lorie Caldwell of Lincoln; granddaughters, Codi Songster and Sage Boye; grandsons, Levi, Joel, Jude and Jace Boye; and nephews, Nathan and Spencer Caldwell.
Throughout her life Jalyn was a servant to her family and community. Her positive outlook on life was as contagious as her smile. Jalyn left a part of herself in everything she did and in the hearts of everyone she met. She was an inspiration and a beacon of hope to many. She will be greatly missed.
