Jensen Memorial Library will soon begin a construction project that will benefit its older patrons. An addition will be built on the southeast side of the library with the space to be used as a meeting room and adult reading area.
“We’ve been looking at doing this for a couple years. It’s been on the wish list since the remodel was done in 2011,” Library Director Janene Hill said. “The Library Foundation recently received a generous donation from the Randy Wolfe trust that will allow us to get it done.”
The new space will allow the library to host meetings, provide a quiet study area, and offer a cozy reading nook for adults. Utilizing the new space for meetings will open the current meeting room to fulfill other needs.
