A new meeting and community room will be on display when Jensen Memorial Library hosts a ribbon cutting and open house on Thursday, November 19.
The Minden Chamber of Commerce, City Officials, and invited guests will join the library Board of Trustees and staff members in a ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony for the new Randy Wolfe Community Room on the southeast side of the library at 4:30 p.m. The ceremony will take place outside, weather pending. Funding for the new space comes from a late 2019 gift from the Randy Wolfe Estate.
An Open House throughout the library will take place the same day from 3-6 p.m. During this time, the public will be able to take a peek at the Randy Wolfe Community Room along with the new book mural in the adult area, the re-vamped storytimes room, and other improvements recently completed in the building.
Cookies and hot drinks will be available during the Open House. Staff members will be on hand to give tours and answer questions.
