Jim’s Auto Clinic Celebrates Twenty-Five Years Of Business

Sound advice taken to heart by a high school senior over forty years ago has resulted in a career of happiness and self fulfillment for Minden auto mechanic Jim Cantrell.
Jim and Wanda Cantrell celebrated twenty-five years of business Friday with an open house at his business, Jim’s Auto Clinic located on Fifth Street in Minden.
“I’ve always enjoyed working on cars,” said Jim. “When I was a high school senior, I went to a job fair and a gentleman gave me some good advice. He told me, ‘Go to school and learn how to fix cars because cars always need fixing and you’ll always have a job’, so I went to tech school in Omaha and have been an auto mechanic for the past forty-two years. It’s worked out well for me.”
