Juniors Advance To District Title Game With 10-Inning Thriller

After a blowout in their first game of District Tournament, the AgVenture Juniors were pushed to ten innings for their 2-1 victory over Cozad on Sunday, July 15, in Holdrege.
AgVenture rode their ace Jonas Lovin for all ten innings on his way to his seventh win. Lovin struck out 18, allowing one run on three hits and added two hits on offense.
AgVenture took an early lead in the bottom of the first when Jacob Choquette led off with a single, Lovin singled behind him and Mitchell Muller singled to score Choquette. AgVenture ended the first inning with a 1-0 lead, though no one knew they wouldn’t score again for nine innings.
