Juniors Down Campbell 18-8

The AgVenture Juniors hosted the Campbell Juniors on Friday night at Ollie Bjorklund Field. AgVenture posted an impressive 18-8 victory.
Jordan Miller picked up the victory for AgVenture in the four inning affair striking out seven hitters.
AgVenture wasted little time getting its offense going. After Campbell led 2-0 after the top of the first, the Juniors batted ten putting up five runs led by Isaac Carlson, Parker Ayres and Jack Raffety with singles and aided by four walks.
In the second, AgVenture scored eight more runs on only two hits with doubles coming from Carlson and Ayres. AgVenture led 13-2 after two innings of play.
In the third, Campbell scored three runs to cut the deficit to 13-5 before AgVenture added one run in the bottom of the third and three more in the fourth to increase its lead to 18-5 and went on to earn the 18-8 victory.
Hitting leaders were Raffety and Ayres both going 3 for 4 at the plate followed by Carlson going 2-4, John Schnoor 1-2 and Miller 1-4. Thomas Sinsel and Paul Christensen each had three walks while Cole Blomme had two walks.
