KCHS Addition Nearly Complete: Tours Set For Sept. 28

The Kearney County Health Services Board of Trustees met August 29 for its regular monthly meeting.
Steve Gaasch with Beckhauer Construction gave the board a construction update to open the meeting. Gaasch said that phase one of the construction project is just about done. There are some minor details to complete in the next two weeks with flooring, cabinets, counter tops as the major items to get accomplished.
He indicated to the board that hopefully the new addition will be able to be moved into between September 17 to the 24 barring any major items that come up on the punch sheet to make sure everything is completed.
The outside is also taking shape as the canopy is done and now all the crews have to do is landscaping since the sprinklers have already been installed.
