KCHS To Sponsor Outsmart The Sun Seminar On Jan. 19
Kearney County Health Services is presenting “Outsmart The Sun” with funding provided by Minden volleyball teams “Crush It For Cancer” donation.
Come learn with them at a brunch at the Minden Country Club on Saturday, January 19 starting at 10 a.m.
Feature speakers Elliott Rustad, M.D., Board Certified Dermatologist, and Renee Grams, APRN will provide information about skin cancer types, screenings, diagnosis and prevention. Two Rivers Health Department will also be present with a DermaScan machine to provide a skin damage screening.
The event is free to the public. Registration is not required to attend, however, those registered by January 1 will be entered into a drawing for prizes including Sunless Spray Tanning sessions, sun protection items and more.
