Kissinger Scores 36 As Minden Wins, 82-57

The Minden Whippet boys basketball team won its regular season finale on Friday night traveling to Broken Bow to take on the Indians.
The Whippets improved their record to 18-2 with a convincing 82-57 victory.
Derek Kissinger led three players in double figures scoring a season-best 36 points including 14 field goals (five three-pointers). Ben Petersen chipped in with 11 points while Carson Blum finished with 15.
Minden led the Indians 28-15 after the first period as Kissinger went off. The junior scored 17 points including three threes. Minden and Broken Bow combined for 43 points in the second as Kissinger continued to have the hot hand adding 11 more points.
