Lady Cats Are 24-2 Entering Subdistricts

The Axtell Lady Cats wrapped up its 2010 regular season on Oct. 26 when they traveled to Kenesaw for the Kenesaw triangular.
Axtell defeated Kenesaw and had a battle with Blue Hill before downing them in three sets.
The Lady Cats end the regular season with a mark of 24 wins and only 2 losses as Axtell enters subdistrict play.
The Lady Cats started off with a two set victory over the BlueDevils by scores of 25-17 and 25-19.
Shala Nelson led the Cats with a team-high nine kills followed by Mariah Popple with six, Hailey Kring five, Lexi Klauz-Rohde four and Shaila Fox and Gabby Knoble one each.
Knoble, Fox and Sara Fecht combined for 23 assists with Knoble passing out 12, Fox 10 and Fecht one.
Klauz-Rohde had three ace blocks in the victory while Julie Kring served up two ace serves and Fox one.
