Lady Cats Get Home Win Over Bertrand

in to the record as their high pressure full court defense allowed the Cats to roll over Bertrand 44-28 on the home court Friday night.
The D-1 number seven ranked Lady Cats are now 2-0 for the season.
The Cats came out on fire in the first quarter, quickly putting 10 points on the scoreboard and holding Bertrand to only five.  
Maintaining the momentum in the second stanza, the Lady Cats held Bertrand to five while converting steals to offense and adding 12 more points to the board, going into the locker room at the half up by 12.
Axtell continued their domination in the third quarter holding Bertrand to only four and adding 11 more big points to increase the lead at the end of the third quarter to 19, score Cats 33, Vikings 14.
