Lady Cats Lose Second Straight, Falling To The Stars, 47-38

The Class D-1 Axtell Lady Cats moved up two classes on Dec. 21 when they traveled to Kearney to take on the Class C-1 Kearney Catholic Lady Stars.
Axtell was playing its second straight road game and the road was again unkind to the Lady Cats.
In this meeting, the visiting Lady Cats got behind early in the first period and could never chip away at the Stars lead and lost its second straight contest, 47-38.
Axtell watches its record fall to 4-2 on the season heading into a matchup in the Minden Holiday Tournament on Dec. 28 taking on the undefeated Lady Whippets.
