Lady Cats Split Games In FKC

Axtell’s split their two contests in the FKC Tournament recently. 

They advanced to the second round of the FKC tournament by knocking off Elm Creek 52-45 on January 29 in Axtell. The Lady Cats rose to 9-9. The Lady Buffs had beaten Axtell by seven a couple weeks earlier. 

The Cats never trailed in the game. They led 13-10 through one period. Trinity Houchin scored five, Lexie Eckhoff four.
