The Wilcox-Hildreth Falcons volleyball team picked up a home court victory on Oct. 19, downing the Silver Lake Mustangs in three sets.
The Falcons defeated the Mustangs by scores of 25-18, 25-23 and 25-18 in Wilcox to move the WH season record to 8 wins and 12 losses.
“It was a good game,” stated Wilcox-Hildreth head coach Jill Schmidt. “Silver Lake is a decent team and they have had a real tough schedule. I thought Morgan Farley played outstanding. She has really been stepping up as of late. We had kids that stepped in and played great, though we did have some passing break downs, the kids fought their way out of it.”
The Falcons were led by Farley with a team-high 13 kills on 21/21 attempts followed by Michaela Hinrichs with seven kills on 16/16 chances. Kylie Sturgis had three kills for WH followed by Bailey Guthrie with two and Jessica Harms one.
