Lady Falcons Lose To Loomis In Class D2-7 Subdistrict Final

The Wilcox-Hildreth Falcons volleyball team played for the title in the Class D2-7 subdistrict final in Minden’s C.L. Jones Gymnasium on Nov. 2.
The second-seeded Falcons opponent was the top-seeded Loomis Wolves with a berth in the district final on the line.
Loomis was able to defeat the Falcons in three sets by scores of 10-25, 14-25 and 13-25.
The Falcons end their season with a record of 11 wins and 17 losses.
Loomis (20-5) advances to the D2-4 district final against the Ansley Warriors in Amherst.
The Lady Falcons were led in the loss by Michaela Hinrichs with six kills followed by Morgan Farley with four, Bailey Guthrie three and Jana Wilson and Miranda Paitz two each.
Wilson had 15 assists in the season-ending game and one ace serve along with Farley to lead WH from the service line.
