Lady Falcons Win FKC Title

The Axtell Wildcats and Wilcox-Hildreth Falcons track and field teams participated in the 2010 Fort Kearny Conference track meet held in Elwood on Friday.
The Wilcox-Hildreth Lady Falcons were the 2010 girls team champions edging Loomis 105 to 99.5 for the title. Eustis-Farnam was third with 82 followed by Axtell with 50.5, Elm Creek 48, SEM 41, Pleasanton 38, Elwood 35, Overton 20 and Amherst 8.
The Lady Falcons were guided to the team title by lots of individual medalists. WH captured gold in the 4×100 relay with team members Brandi Brummer, Hannah Blum, Callie Guthrie and Samantha Johnson in a time of 52.8.
Johnson, Blum and Brummer also placed first, third and fourth in the 100-meters in times of 12.7; 13.1 and 13.2 respectively.
