Lady Whippets Taste First Defeat of the Season in Overtime Loss to Adams Central

Minden’s girls tasted defeat for the first time but it took overtime for Adams Central to slip by the Whippets 54-51. The loss left Minden at 5-1.

The game was close throughout, although AC led at one point in the first half by 10, but the Patriots did have leads at the ends of the first three quarters. 

Minden tied the contest three times in the fourth quarter with Mattie Kamery and Sloane Beck each scoring five, and Trinity Houchin’s trey at 0:58 was the last points of regulation, tying the score at 46-46.
