Lewis Wins Gold, Leads Five Dawg Medalists

The Minden Whippet wrestling team hosted the annual Minden Invitational wrestling meet at C.L. Jones Gymnasium.
This year there was a field of eight very competitive teams. Central City won the team title with a score of 207 followed by Phillipsburg with 190 and Holdrege with 110.5. Minden finished in sixth position with a team total of 81.
The Whippets had five medalists in the meet led by 160 pound champion Bryce Lewis. Lewis defeated Travis Maresh of Central City 4-2 in the finals.
