Libraries Preparing Activities For All Ages This Summer

Libraries across the country are encouraging patrons to explore their world and beyond with the Universe of Stories Summer Reading program. Local libraries are participating with a variety of activities, competitions, and events for all ages.
Jensen Memorial Library will have its annual Summer Reading Challenge for all ages beginning May 28. Participants will complete Challenge ticket tasks and bring them to the library to enter for a chance to win prizes all summer. Tasks include reading activities, community involvement, and ways to have out of this world fun.
Fun and educational classes relating to the Universe of Stories theme will be held Thursdays 10-10:45am for age 3 through preschool; Tuesdays 10am for Kindergarten, Wednesdays 10am for grades 1-2; Tuesdays 10am for grades 3-4; and Thursdays 10 for grades 5 and up.
