Library Begins Renovation
Jensen Memorial Library will be going through a series of improvements over the coming months. The first large project that has been approved for this renovation is the replacement of windows on the east side of the building and extending the interior space on the northeast corner of the building by enclosing the cement area right outside the fire exit of the library. The new windows will be a solar-cool glass which will not only be energy efficient, but will also lessen the damage that the sun can do to books inside the library. The panelling around the windows will also be replaced, as some of the construction holding the current windows in place is badly deteriorated and threatened the integrity of the building.
