Local Artist And Teacher Brings Her Thesis Exhibition To MOH

Local artist and art educator, Christy Kosmicki is hosting her MFA Thesis Exhibition in Painting and Mixed Media at the Minden Opera House (MOH) now through August 31st.  Kosmicki grew up in Minden and her parents are Dale Bunger and the late Jean Bunger.
The exhibition is entitled The Muse Within.  Visually, the Muse embodies those aesthetic moments in her encounters with the physical world, intellectual process and spiritual inspirations.  Kosmicki believes that life is a journey marked by pivotal moments that can transform our experiences and ultimately define who we are.
“I know that everyone has had that amazing ‘A-HA’ moment: when you find the perfect solution; when you are awestruck by the beauty of nature; when all of your hard work and energy is manifested in an incredible performance; or when that unexplainable spiritual moment inspired you to open your heart or motivated you to make a difference in the world around you,” Kosmicki stated. “That is what this exhibition is about – giving tangible form to the Muse Within us all.”
