The 5th Annual Patterson Harbor Polar Plunge held on March 19, 2016 has set another fundraising record, raising $16,100 with proceeds benefiting local TeamMates Mentoring Programs and the Leon Harder Memorial Scholarship. “The support of our generous sponsors, participants and supporters was far beyond our wildest expectations and we were amazed and humbled as we raised nearly $5,000 more than our record total of $11,000 in 2015,” says Justin Clark.
“We had a packed house at this year’s Polar Plunge with over 65 participants and over 200 spectators who braved a cold and windy day. I believe the plungers had a ball this year as each participant truly earned their membership into the Patterson Harbor Plunger Family as the water temp was 41 degrees with temps in the low 40s and winds blowing 25 to 35 miles per hour.”
