Long Term Care Addition Moving Along At KCHS

The Kearney County Health Services Board of Trustees held its monthly meeting on June 24 in the conference room at the hospital with Trustee Jeff Hanson absent.
Chairman Robert Garrett’s first new business agenda item had to deal with Quality Improvement.
Kearney County Health Services Director of Nursing Mary Bunger reported that since the transition of Connie Jorgensen to Long Term Care the hospital has hired Teresa Blank to replace Jorgensen handling the Quality Improvement-Acute Care. Blank is an RN and is taking over the responsibilities which is to provide a guide to coordinate and integrate all activities for a comprehensive program. The board unanimously approved the action.
