The Minden Whippet track and field team competed on April 12 hosting the five team Marsh Beck Invitational at Kuper Field on one of the warmest days and also the windiest and then coldest by the end of the meet.
The Minden girls placed third in the meet scoring 88 points behind Broken Bow winning the meet with 133 followed by Adams Central with 90.5
Jessie Hurt won the 1,600 meters and was second in the 800. Kinsie Land and Makenna Betty went first, third in the high jump while Aubree Bules was second and Keitan Bienhoff third in the triple jump. Mattie Kamery won the 100 hurdles and second in the 300 hurdles. The 4×800 relay was second, 4×400 third and 4×100 throwers relay third. Sophia Cederburg and Lexi Anderson were third and fourth in pole vault.
