MCP Presents: Happy Days, A New Musical

Practice is in full swing for the Minden Community Players upcoming production of ‘Happy Days, A New Musical’ at Minden Opera House. Tickets are on sale now for shows March 10-26.

Goodbye gray skies, hello blue! Happy days are here again with Richie, Potsie, Ralph Malph and the unforget- table “king of cool” Arthur “The Fonz” Fonzarelli. Based on the hit Paramount Pictures television series, ‘Happy Days, A New Musical’ reintroduces one of America’s best loved families, the Cunninghams – yes, Howard, Marion and Joanie are here too – to a whole new generation of kids and parents.

The famed drive-in malt shop and number one hangout, Arnold’s, is in danger of demolition. So the gang teams up to save it with a dance contest and a TV-worthy wrestling match. Even Pinky Tuscadero, Fonzie’s childhood sweetheart, returns to help and – lo and behold! – they rekindle their old flame.

‘Happy Days, A New Musical’, is the creation of amazing music from the Oscar-winner songwriter, Paul Williams, and a book by the TV series original creator Garry Marshall.

Come spend an evening or afternoon and return to the days of 1959 Milwaukee complete with varsity sweaters, hula hoops and jukebox sock-hoppin’ fun. This perfectly family friendly musical will have you rockin’ and rollin’ all week long!

A talented cast of local actors will bring the charac- ters to life. Will Werner as Arthur “The Fonz” Fonzarelli, Tucker Robinson as Richie Cunningham, Jadyn Horner as Pinky Tuscadero, Tim Kingsley as Howard Cunningham, Jeanne Jons as Marion Cunningham, Emory Porter as Joanie Cunningham, Ian Sinsel as Charles “Chachi” Ar- cola, Brooks Glanzer as Ralph Malph, Kenan Horner as Warren “Potsie” Webber/James Dean, Melissa Klabunde as Arnold’s Niece Alice Delvecchio, Sara Shirley as Lori Beth Allen, Bailey Alkire as Count Malachi, Dayne Por- ter as Jumpy Malachi, John Sherbert as Leopard Manny
