During the August 3 community meeting, Two Rivers Public Health Department reported positive COVID-19 test results are rising in Kearney County and the rest of the district likely due to several recent gathering events.
At the time of the meeting, 14 positive cases were reported in Kearney County within 14 days. Most of the cases were in people under the age of 39. TRPHD reported they expect to see more cases as school gets back in session.
A risk dial on the TRPHD website shows the current risk level in the district. The dial is updated weekly with new input on Thursdays.
