Miller Scores Career High, But Dawgs Fall To Ainsworth

The Minden Whippets boys hosted the Ainsworth Bulldogs on Friday in C.L. Jones in a Southwest Conference showdown.
Ainsworth would get the better of the Whippets on this occasion despite Minden playing the Bulldogs tough throughout the game. Ainsworth would go on for road victory 71-56 dropping Minden to 2 wins and 8 losses on the season.
Minden seniors Jonathan Miller and Adam DeLaet both produced for the Whippets on its home court. Miller had a career-high 28 points including making eight three-pointers. DeLaet recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10 boards. Elijah Lovin added six assists while Miller and Josiah Lovin had three each while Elijah and Josiah Lovin each had two steals.
