Minden Area A Good Fit For Crossroads Welding

A need for a larger production area and the ideal location were the driving force behind Cletus and Sherri Holmes’ decision to locate their second business location, Crossroads Welding, in Minden.
The couple’s primary location in Miller limited the businesses’ plans for expansion and when Cletus saw the vacant buildings on Highway 6/34 and 35 Road he knew this was the location he was looking for.
“I was driving by and noticed the building was vacant, needed a bigger area to build in,” said Cletus.  “I checked into it and then brought my wife Sherri over to look at it.”
The 42 acres, large metal machine shop and former beef plant buildings provided the couple with a larger shop area for manufacture, storage and highway access for the growing business which has shipped equipment to 16 states and Canada.
Crossroads Welding has been in business for over 20 years and provides a wide range of products for agricultural and non-agricultural use including livestock shelters, car garages, utility sheds, kit buildings, livestock panels, gates, continuous fence, panel carts, bale haulers, chutes, alley ways, roping boxes and chutes for rodeo.
