Minden Board of Education Chooses D.A. Davidson As Financial Agent For Bonds

The Minden Public School Board of Eduction held its November meeting in the C.L. Jones Media Center on November 13.
The board had a big decision to make on a potential financial agent for the possible school bond issue. Not present at this meeting were Board President Dr. Julie Krull and Pat Nelson. Present and discussing the topic were members Craig Grams, Jeff Shelton, Richard Jacobsen and Justin Glanzer.
The board had heard from D.A. Davidson, First National Capital Markets and RBC Capital Markets during the October meeting as each outlined how they would work with board during the bond issue and how they would accomplish their goals for the school.
Dr. Melissa Wheelock was asked by Shelton to give her thoughts on the candidates.
