Minden Boys Cruise By Central City, Winning 63-29

The Minden Whippets boys basketball team rebounded from its overtime loss on Thursday with a dominating 63-29 victory on Saturday over the Central City Bison in C.L. Jones Gymnasium.

The Whippets moved to 4-2 on the season behind three double figure scorers. Isaac Carlson led the way with 18 points including four three-pointers and four assists and three steals. RJ Watson added 12 points with 11 rebounds and two steals while Jonas Lovin added 10 points and nine rebounds.

Minden exploded in the first eight minutes using its full court pressure defense to harass the Bison into turnover after turnover.
