Minden Boys Get Win Over Wood River, 55-44

The Minden Whippets boys basketball team got back in the win column on Thursday when they hosted the Wood River Eagles at Minden High School in its second to last home contest.
Minden outscored Wood River in every quarter of the game and got a career high from Grant Edgecombe finishing with 20 points and eight rebounds to lead the Whippets to an 11 point victory, 55-44.
The Dawgs moved their record to 8 wins and 10 losses heading into the final two games at Gibbon and hosting Broken Bow to end the year on seniors night on Feb. 16.
