Minden Defeats Bluejays

The Minden Whippet boys basketball team improved to 7-4 on the season picking up a hard-fought road victory over the Ravenna Bluejays.

Minden used a 22 point third quarter effort to take the lead for good and hold on for the four point victory 49-45.

The Dawgs were led by Seth Hauserman and Braiden Schroeder with 14 points each with Carter Harsin with nine points.

Minden scored 24 points off the 22 Jays turnovers. The Dawgs were outshot by the Jays 36 to 32 percent but Minden had 12 steals and 13 assists.
