Minden Downs Southern Valley 10-2

The Minden Whippet girls softball team picked up their second home win of the season at Augie Nelson Park on Sept. 17 when they hosted the Southern Valley Eagles.
Minden improves its season record to 3-11 with a 10-2 victory as the regular season has only two weeks remaining before districts.
Lily Steen picked up the win for the Whippets in the six inning contest which went back and forth until the Dawgs big fifth inning.
