Minden Girls Lose Two In SWC Tourney

The Minden Whippets girls basketball team competed in the 2021 Southwest Conference tournament on Jan. 27 and 28.

The fifth-seeded Whippets went 0-2 in the tournament dropping its first game to Gothenburg and then losing on a last-second shot to McCook in the consolation game.

Minden falls to 10-9 on the season heading into the final two weeks of the year before subdistrict play begins.
