Minden Girls Second, Boys Fourth At 2012 SWC Meet

The Whippets cross country crew ventured a couple hundred miles northwest to Valentine on October 4 for the Southwest Conference meet.
The Lady Whippets had an outstanding day placing four in the top 15, earning all SWC honors, and placing a strong second place as a team. Minden came into the meet ranked 6th in class C and were topped for the conference championship by second ranked Cozad. The top four team scores were Cozad 26, Minden 41, Ogallala 52 and Ainsworth 64.
