“Jack was able to avenge an earlier loss to Anthony Pacheco from Kearney Catholic 2-2 Quin Rutt, a freshman, again wrestled very solid placing fourth,” stated Coaches Jim Andersen and Sam Dunn. “In the matchup of the day, Bryce squared off against Austin Wilson of St. Cecilia, a two-time state champion, who hadn’t been scored upon this year.  Bryce lost his second match of the season 9-4. We felt Bryce did an excellent job setting the pace in the match against an excellent wrestler.  Earlier in the day, Lewis won his 100th match. This is a milestone among high school wrestlers.”
