Minden Grapplers Seventh At Thayer Central Invite

The Minden Whippet varsity wrestling team was in action on Friday when they traveled to Hebron to compete in the 12-team Thayer Central Invitational.
The Whippets placed seventh overall with 72.5 points. Fairbury won the invite title with 186 points followed by Dorchester with 118.5 and South Central in third with 100.
Jack Raffety and Bryce Lewis were both gold medal winners going 3-0 in the 152 and 160 pound classes respectively. Dyllan Kuehn earned a silver medal at 103 pounds while Sam Fiest was the fourth Whippet medalist, placing third in the 171 pound class.
