Minden Man Arraigned On Charges In November Theft
A Minden man was arraigned on Thursday, August 5 in connection with alleged receipt of property stolen from an area farmer in November of 2009.
Brian D. Berry, age 19, of Minden, was arraigned in Kearney County Court and charged with theft by receiving stolen property, a Class III felony with a maximum of 20 years imprisonment or $25,000 fine or both or a minimum of 1 year imprisonment.
According to the complaint, Brian D. Berry on or about late January to early February 2010 did receive, retain or dispose of stolen property, a hypertherm Powermate 1250 G3 series plasma cutter belonging to Brian Petersen, Petersen Farms, valued at $3,700.
