The Minden Public Schools Board of Education will take the second step in preparing for the future of the district during the July 11 regular meeting. Three agenda items will mark this step of the process: consideration of a construction manager at risk and scope of the project, the criteria for construction manager at risk applicants, and creation of a selection committee.
The board approved hiring an architect for potential building projects during their regular June meeting. The architects will help determine the needs of the district and the projects associated with meeting those needs. Potential projects could include new construction or remodel of East Elementary, remodel of C.L. Jones Middle School, expanded parking, a greenhouse, and remodel or new construction of an activities building.
